The Batu Caves are a series of limestone caves and cave temples about 8 miles outside of Kuala Lumpur. You can get there by catching a train from Sentral Kuala Lumpur train station, and it is free to enter the main caves. It is the most popular Hindu shrine outside of India, but I didn’t know that until I just looked it up on Wikipedia. I went there because it was on a list of things to do in Malaysia. It was real pretty, but the stairs to get up to the caves were a killer. It was worth the work, so now look at my pretty pictures and be sure to tune in tomorrow for my brother’s guest blog. He went into the dark caves, but I was too scared, and he will tell you all about it in a very interesting way.
LOL beautiful pics!
